Not having any automated systems in place (apart from Tally for accounting), August Industries wanted a solution that would enable them to integrate their disparate business processes leading to improved efficiency and productivity at their manufacturing unit. Since exports form a large part of their business, August Industries required a cost estimation module to be included in the solution so as to enable them to easily arrive at the cost of manufacturing an order.
